Recycling commingled construction and demolition waste is one of the most inconvenient, challenging undertakings in the recycling industry (which may be the reason no one has attempted to actually do it here in Indiana to this point). CW Recycling is here to resolve an unaddressed issue, to solve a problem, to provide a solution. It would have been far easier, and made a lot more sense to build a multimillion-dollar factory that manufactures a widget for profit. We instead chose to build a multimillion-dollar facility designed to recycle commingled construction and demolition debris, which would otherwise be buried in central Indiana landfills. It’s not a lucrative industry. We bring the majority of the waste we haul through our facility, where we sort out recyclable materials, diverting them from landfills for responsible disposal into appropriate recycling streams.
