Recycling commingled construction and demolition waste is one of the most inconvenient, challenging undertakings in the recycling industry (which may be the reason no one has attempted to actually do it here in Indiana to this point). CW Recycling is here to resolve an unaddressed issue, to solve a problem, to provide a solution. It would have been far easier, and made a lot more sense to build a multimillion-dollar factory that manufactures a widget for profit. We instead chose to build a multimillion-dollar facility designed to recycle commingled construction and demolition debris, which would otherwise be buried in central Indiana landfills. It’s not a lucrative industry. But with proper management, we believe it to be a viable model which can inspire a new level of responsible behavior, and enhance people’s lives, businesses, and the circular economy of central Indiana. Pioneering is risky business, and quite costly, but one thing’s for sure… we’ll never run the risk of being called the dreaded “corner cutter.”

Licensed by IDEM to receive and process Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris, CW Recycling makes it easy for 3rd-party Haulers, General Contractors, Project Owners, Builders, and Corporate Partners to responsibly process C&D. Repurpose + Divert
Recycling C&D is very challenging. It’s big, heavy, unwieldy, dirty, and has low market value. That’s why so few recyclers exist in this space. We understood from the beginning that we weren’t going to have big profit margins in recycling, but aimed instead to provide a desperately needed solution for diverting as much C&D from landfills and incineration as possible. Our diversion rates are above 60% and climbing. Diversion is how we measure our success. And that is the benchmark for anyone that considers themselves “recyclers.”
